Startup accelerators are hugely popular. Some of the best – Y Combinator and TechStars – have changed the landscape of early stage investing and startup development forever. In 2010 I started Year One Labs along with three partners. It was a micro-fund / startup accelerator focused on Lean Startup. We invested in 5 startups and learned a lot.
