I joined GoInstant a couple months ago. It’s been a great experience so far. We’ve been signing up beta customers (big and small) primarily in the B2B SaaS space (for sales and support) and e-commerce (for assisted sales), and launching new features. 2012 is going to be an amazing, action-packed year for GoInstant.
And to meet our goals, we need to grow the team. For now that means adding technical people; but in the next six months or so I expect we’ll be rounding out other areas of the business as well (sales, marketing, etc.)
GoInstant has 3 open positions – you can see them here: http://www.goinstant.com/careers/.
First and foremost, we’re looking for a Senior Web Developer and Senior QA Engineer. Then, we also want to add another Web Developer (mid-level).
These jobs come with good salaries, equity and perks. Joining GoInstant means you genuinely want to tackle hard, complex problems every single day. The tech behind GoInstant is significant. We’re using some of the latest technology out there (node.js, redis, etc.) so you’ll have tons of opportunity to learn as well.
GoInstant is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It’s not what you might consider a “startup hub” but there’s still some interesting things going on. And companies like Radian6 (from New Brunswick, with a big office in Halifax too) have proven that you can build a big, meaningful and successful business in Eastern Canada. They weren’t the first either (and won’t be the last.) If you don’t live in Halifax, maybe it’s time for an adventure…
