Alistair and I published Lean Analytics in 2013. It’s been 3 years. I can’t believe it’s been that long. And I remain shocked and humbled by the awesome feedback we still get today from people who tell us the book has helped them. It means more than you know.
Since releasing Lean Analytics, we’ve always wanted to do more with it. Books are great, but they don’t evolve over time, the words are printed and that’s it. And the truth is that the book just scratched the surface. Things change. New models emerge. New ideas take shape. People want to expand on the basic concepts and dig deeper.
With that in mind, Alistair and I are very excited to announce the Lean Analytics Backchannel.
The Backchannel is a private community of sorts (using Slack + other tools), hosted by me and Alistair, where we’ll be sharing new content, running Q&As with practitioners and generally trying to advance the practice of Lean Analytics as much as we can.
The Backchannel is not free. We’ve set a price of $50/month (or $550 for the year). We’re launching it as an experiment. The Pre-Order Landing Page is ready to go and we’ve set a target of April 4th for launch. If we hit our threshold of paying members we’ll go live. If we don’t, we’ll make sure no one gets charged (and we’ll go lick our wounds in shame. #kidding) We believe in experimentation though, and that’s why we’ve setup the pre-order page–to see if people are genuinely interested in participating in a membership experience with me and Alistair to take Lean Analytics to the next level. We think people will enjoy it and hope it will drive tons of value, but we’ll see.
If you’re interested in Lean Analytics and interested in what we’re doing, we hope you’ll join us!
